The Toronto District School Board
Canadian Hindu Advocacy and the Christian Heritage Party are to stage a picket outside the boards head office next week to ensure Muslim prayers in public schools is stopped immediately!
Valley Park Middle School has been used for 3 years to hold prayer meetings for Muslim children so they do not have to leave the school grounds to go to the particular service which is scheduled during public school hours. (Local imams are brought in to lead a 40-minute service with about 400 students in which the boys sit in front of girls in the lunch room. Girls who are said to be menstruating are told to sit at the very back.) more
TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY AT CITY HALL
As the City Solicitor Anna Kinastowski evoked "attorney client privilege" many times in the past, along with her unwillingness to answer questions put directly to her in open forums, it may be impossible for Torontonians to ensure the recovery of ANY funds owed. A request was subsequently made by myself to the Auditor General to monitor the full recovery of funds owed by Mr. Heaps and Mr. Mammoliti. Read More
GOOD RIDDANCE TO BAD HAM
Your Ward news is pleased to announce that Pig Inc. has kicked the trough. Mrs. Pat Sliver, Mr. Nick Sickassis and Mr. Supersadsong have permanently stuck their snouts in the sand. After getting caught with their heads stuck in the trough, the Porkarood derrieres got burnt from strong exposure coming from the light of truth. We at Your Ward News hope the darlings learned a holy lesson or two from the Order of St. Germain Reform for Nasty Little Oinkers. But in case they forget, we'll be watching!
DANFORTH MOSAIC BIA:
This ward needs an enema!
On February 7th, I visited the Danforth Mosaic BIA office and was warmly received by a crew of board members and temporary staff. I want to thank the new Chair of the organization, Litsa Kostouros, for allowing me to view files in the office. It was a very busy time, and I know that I didn`t make it easier wanting to visit the office. When I arrived there was a man organizing boxes, a young woman and middle aged man trying to chronologically file invoices, a female senior steam-cleaning blackened seats in the board room, the President and Treasurer were going through boxes of bizarre items, trying to find invoices and files. I really felt sorry for these folks who I understand spent an exorbitant amount of time organizing a bunker ravaged by Kremlenite bloodshed.

On December 2, 2010 the merchants of Danforth showed up for round two of BIA fire at their second AGM in just three months. And though the councillors used their muscle to do everything in their power to keep their friends "on board", they certainly did not emerge from the smack down unscathed. Watching the whole AGM from start to finish was like going to a WWF competition –with the exception of leotards and bad make-up.

UNDER FIRE FROM MEMBERS
The Danforth has been abuzz since the October 5 2010 shutdown of the Annual General Meeting of the Danforth Mosaic Business Improvement Association in Toronto. The shutdown came just one hour after nearly 200 members piled into Woodgreen Community Centre, forcing Mike Major, Manager of the Economic Development department at the City of Toronto and Woodgreen staff to conclude that the facility was not complying with fire regulations. Since 2004 when the Natural Health Product Regulations were introduced, natural health products have been increasingly threatened. The new Regulations were Health Canada’s response to consumer demands for the government to “protect” their access to natural health products. The Regulations have had the opposite effect. To “legally” sell a health product the new regulations impose a licensing requirement. The problem is that 60% of license applications have failed; these have been the “easy” applications.
